Eighth grade was drawing to a close. High school was next year, and she would be having the time of her life. And she would put her childish days behind her and become the woman she dreamed of being; Slowly but surely. Short, auburn locks would give way to elegant black treses. Braces would become a thing of the past and she'd have perfect, shining teeth. She'd find new friends. She'd find a new best-'boy'-friend. She'd find a new crush to ladore, and new dreams to chase. And she'd never see him again. Never again watch him standing in bright the sunlight that made his skin look oh-so-pale. She wouldn't be able to beg the teacher to let her sit with him. Because he wouldn't be there. Everytthing would change. And she might have it all some day, but she would always miss him. She would always stop to think,

"I wish you, were here".
